Treatment Options
Interventional Pain Management
We take a holistic patient centered approach to pain management. We tailor our treatments to your goals. We take the time to get to know you and what your expectations are. After talking with you, our plan may include interventional techniques such as:
- fluoroscopically guided injections
- ultrasound guided injections
- radio-frequency ablations
- diagnostic nerve blocks
Treatments to relieve pain
- Botox Injections
- Steroid Injections
- Nerve Blocks
- Radio-Frequency Ablations
Our pain management treatments can help with pain in virtually any part of the body:
- abdominal
- ankle
- carpal tunnel
- genicular nerve ablations
- hip
- knee
- lateral femoral cutaneous nerve
- occipital neuralgia
- shoulder
- trigger point
- trochanteric bursitis
Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)
Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) is a cutting-edge technology that offers targeted relief for chronic pain through electrical stimulation to the spine that disrupt pain signals. Experience the future of pain management with our expert-led SCS interventions.
- post-surgical pain
- back pain and spinal cord injuries
- neuropathic pain
- ischemic pain
- failed back surgery
- complex regional pain syndrome
- arachnoiditis
- pain after an amputation
- visceral abdominal pain and perineal pain
- other forms of chronic pain
Steroid Injections
The long acting anti-inflammatory actions of steroids often allow time for the nerves to heal. The following are some of the steroid injections we do:
- cervical epidural
- thoracic epidural
- lumbar epidural
- lumbar transforaminal epidural
- caudal epidural
- sacroiliac joint
- other joints
Nerve Blocks
Nerve blocks involve precisely injecting medication that stops nerves from feeling pain. Using ultrasound or fluoroscopy, we are able to see the nerves and spaces where the nerves run. This allows us to place medicine right where it is needed while minimizing the risks. We do the following nerve blocks:
- celiac plexus block
- ganglion impar block
- intercostal nerve block
- lumbar sympathetic block
- pudendal nerve block
- sphenopalatine ganglion block
- stellate ganglion block
- suprascapular nerve block
- trigeminal nerve block
Radio-Frequency Ablations (RFA)
Radio frequency ablations (also known as radio frequency neurotomies) involve using RF signals to heat and ablate, or burn, nerves in order to eliminate the transmission of pain signals. Using ultrasound or fluoroscopy, we are able to see the nerves and spaces where the nerves run. This allows us to inject and ablate right where it is needed while minimizing the risks. We do the following RF injections:
- cervical facet radiofrequency neurotomy
- lumbar radiofrequency neurotomy
- sacroiliac joint radiofrequency neurotomy
- knee injection
- lumbar facet injection
- cervical facet injection
- costovertebral joint injection
- hip injection
- medial branch injection
- piriformis injection
- pubic symphysis injection
- shoulder injection
